Whorlton Castle Gatehouse, near Swainby, North Yorkshire
The option appraisal for the gatehouse was completed in August 2011 and considered at the subsequent Trustee's meeting. The Trustees were delighted with the proposals which will not only secure the future and maintenance of the gatehouse but will also offer interpretation of the whole of this important site. Development work has been agreed and, once the funding is gathered, we hope to be able to continue with the project. |
