Grade I listed Hadlow Tower, the 170 foot Gothic Revival folly that has been on English Heritage's, Heritage at Risk Register for many years, is today, under the ownership of the Vivat Trust.
The famous Kent landmark has been subject to a compulsory purchase order by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council and today, the council and Vivat are celebrating its handover to the Trust.
The restoration plans for the Tower include its new sustainable use as a Vivat holiday property with public exhibition space on the ground floor.
